Xpert Roof Coatings is a New Zealand family-owned and operated roof painting and restoration business, proudly servicing the Hibiscus Coast, North Shore and West Auckland.
Owner and operator Brandon has worked in the roof painting and restoration industry since 2009, bringing more than 17 years of hands-on experience to every project. After years working in the industry and refining his craft, Brandon established Xpert Roof Coatings in 2015, building the business around quality workmanship, honest advice and results designed to last.
We specialise in roof painting, roof restoration, repairs and maintenance for long-run iron and concrete tile roofs, with a focus on protecting and extending the life of the roof you already have.
Family Owned. Personally Accountable.
When you choose Xpert Roof Coatings, you’re dealing with a small, experienced local team — not being passed from salesperson to contractor.

We believe trust is earned through the way we work: honest advice, thorough preparation, attention to detail and standing behind the quality of every roof we restore.
Combined with premium New Zealand-made Shieldcoat coating systems and our specialised four-coat process, that experience goes into achieving a professional finish designed to protect, enhance and preserve your roof for years to come.

“ Highly recommend Brandon, he is well skilled, efficient and knowledgeable. Also he reached all our expectations and then some. The property was left clean and tidy throughout the works, he produced a top quality finish at a reasonable price and well within the time allocated. Thanks again looks great. ”

“ Highly recommend this professional, efficient company who came out quickly to assess our roof, start the job and finish in record time. This company is amazing and did a fantastic job and we can't say enough good things about them. ”
Claire
“ Brandon & his colleague did an amazing job on our roof! I knew it was bad as had never been touched since it was built in the 80s, but I had no idea how much filth and dirt would come off it! They water blasted and then cleaned up the house and paths better than it was to start with, re pointed and replaced 20 tiles! Then sealed, coated and painted it. So glad we got this done before it deteriorated further or we could have been in for some huge leak related expenses. It looks so good the neighbour has asked for your details Brandon! ”
Paigan Jones
“ Amazing service - from initial assessment, quote to completion, Brandon went over and above to get our roof re-pointed and painted in time for the sale of our house. Very very happy with the end result! Would recommend Brandon and his team to everyone ”
Hayden and Melanie Ball
“ We’re really happy with the work Brandon at Xpert Roof Coatings Ltd did on our roof. From washing and repointing to replacing broken tiles and painting, everything was completed to a high standard and the roof looks amazing. Communication was great the whole way through, keeping us updated on progress and timing. Friendly, professional, and easy to deal with. Highly recommend. ”

“ If I could leave a 10 star review I would! We have a 1940s concrete tile roof that has likely never been touched since it was built aside from some interesting tin additions. The team very respectfully said it might be the dirtiest roof they've seen - my photos don't do it justice but we'd definitely agree. The backside was like walking on a lush mat! Despite the challenge, the team really came through and delivered a roof that I can't stop going to the road to look at - it's so different and looks insane! If your roof is in need of a revamp RUN, DONT WALK to get Xpert Roof Coatings Ltd in to sort you out. They are incredibly hardworking, detail oriented lads and hands down the easiest and friendliest tradies we have had the pleasure of dealing with. THANKS GUYS! ”
